Education: University of California, Riverside (1973-1975) and Berkeley (B.A., 1977); San Joaquin College of Law (J.D., 1991).

JEFFREY L. LEVINSON is a partner with Griswold, LaSalle, Cobb, Dowd & Gin, L.L.P. in Hanford, CA, and concentrates his practice on landlord-tenant issues, residential real estate, eminent domain, civil- business litigation and family law. Mr. Levinson has acted as litigation counsel for the Housing Authority of Kings County since 1994. Mr. Levinson is a member of the Kings County and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of California. He was the Kings County Bar president in 2001. He is also a director of the San Joaquin Valley chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. Mr. Levinson attended the University of California–Riverside, and the University of California–Berkeley, where he received his B.A. in 1977 and his J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law in 1991.

Mr. Levinson was elected to the West Hills Community College District Board of Trustees in 1985, serving as President (1990-91, and 2000-2004) and Vice President (1991-98). He remains on the board today. Other public service includes the Lemoore District Chamber of Commerce (1995-2001 and 2005-2008), serving as President in 1998, and the City of Lemoore Planning Commission from 1981-1984 (Chairman, 1984). He has been a member of the Lemoore Kiwanis Club since 1978.

Mr. Levinson was the managing editor and general partner of The Lemoore Advance, Inc., from 1979-1987. He personally received 10 California Newspaper Publisher's Associations Better Newspaper Contest first and second place awards from 1981-1986. Areas of distinction include Best Local Columnist, Best Agricultural Resource Page, Best In-depth Series of Articles, Best Feature Story, Best Series of Editorials, and Best Editorial Page.

Mr. Levinson is the author of Alpha Strike Vietnam, Presidio Press, hardcover (1989), Simon and Schuster’s Pocket Books, paperback (1990), Asahi Sonorama, Japanese edition (1990), Military Book of the Month Club alternate selection (1989); Fresno State Bulldog Football, A Commemorative History (1993); and Missile Inbound ! The Attack on the Stark in the Persian Gulf, Naval Institute Press (1997) with Randy Edwards. He also authored a 76-page monograph commemorating the 25th anniversary of Lemoore Naval Air Station in 1986
